This is your 2023 CD 1 MNGOP Convention Call.
Pursuant to the Republican Party of Minnesota Constitution, a Convention for the CD 1 MNGOP is hereby called to meet at:
Austin High School
301 3rd Street Northwest
Austin, Minnesota, 55912
Saturday, April 1st, 2023, Convening at 10:00 AM. Registration will open at 8:30 AM and close at 12:00 PM.
The 2023 CD 1 MNGOP Convention shall be composed of Delegates and Alternates elected at their respective BPOU Conventions in the year 2022 and Delegates and Alternates elected by any Affiliates in good standing with the Party that have chapters in CD 1.
The Convention shall be held for the purpose of:
- Electing CD 1 MNGOP Officers for the 2023-2025 Term¹
- Electing Executive Committee Members from each of the CD 1 Senate Districts
- Considering Amendments to the CD 1 MNGOP Constitution²
- Any other such business that may properly come before the Convention

If running for an officer position (Chair, Deputy Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, State Exec. Rep.), click here to submit a Nominations Form and plan to be interviewed by the Nominations Committee via Zoom on Thursday, March 30th, or Wednesday, March 29th if an additional interview day is needed.
2= If you would like to propose a change to the Constitution or would like more information, please email our Constitution Committee Chairman, Keith Allen, at keithallen7271977@gmail.com. Amendments are due by 6 PM on Friday, March 3rd.
Registration Fee: Delegates & Alternates - $30 if received by 3/28, $50 at the door
Guests³ - $20 if received by 3/28, $40 at the door
Lunches are included in Registration Fees.
³=Guests must be accompanied by a Delegate, limit one Guest per Delegate
